Luther's words...regarding Christ

People make a Moses of Christ for us, whereas He did not purchase us with His shed blood merely to teach us how to lead a good life, but in order to live and rule in us Himself and to be our Lord, working all good works within us, something that takes place only through faith in Him.  But the folks who now preach the Gospel, and claim to be the best, turn Christ into our Master or Minister who remains outside us and merely teaches what is good and does not rule us from within by performing good works in us.
